Facing Coronavirus … What did Iraqi companies do?

In light of the outbreak of the Corona virus or Covid-19, international companies launched free services and some of them improved their services in order to meet the request of the user sitting in his house after the curfew in most of the countries where the epidemic spread.

When we speak, we must talk about what companies have provided in other countries and compare them with what our local companies have provided.

Let’s Begin:

What have global companies provided to combat the Corona epidemic?

1. Samsung: The South Korean company revealed a new service that allows “free sterilization” for its smartphones in 19 countries. Samsung has called the service Galaxy Sanitizing, and provides free sterilization at the official service center, and Samsung Experience stores in certain countries, based on ultraviolet radiation, according to AIT NEWS, a technical news website.

2. Shahid Platform: Shahid Company provided its services free of charge for one month.

3. Du Telecom: du has offered an internet upgrade of up to 500Mbps to both its existing and new customers, all of whom will receive the upgrade for free and automatically with du Home.

4. Egyptian Telecom: Gives 30 times the balance charged minutes and free units to citizens

5. Kuwait Telecom Company “STC”: Giving the company customers free unlimited local minutes to all local mobile networks and a 5GB internet package per day, starting from March 22 to April 20.
5. United States Telecommunications Regulatory Authority: Comcast Corp, AT&T, Verizon Communications, and others have agreed not to end service for subscribers for the next 60 days if they are unable to pay their bills due to the turmoil caused by the Corona virus.
6. Apple: Donate millions of masks to combat Corona
7. LVMH: Donate $ 2.2 million to the Chinese Red Cross Society.
8. Swiss company Richemont: $ 1.4 million to fight the Corona epidemic.
9. Ooredoo: Donate 800,000 Tunisian dinars to deal with the epidemic.
10. JOSONS: donate two hundred million Lebanese pounds to the Rafic Hariri University Hospital and fifty thousand dollars to the Red Cross.
Is this number of companies enough?
Well, now let’s compare the above with what Iraqi companies have provided — the results:

Iraqi companies’ contributions: None!

nothing! How amazing! Are you surprised? Do not be surprised by that and accept it with openness. If you ask about the reason, it is as follows:
This is the result of many years of corruption deals that have made these companies demons absorb the blood of users and make them consumers. This is the result of putting corrupt officials in top positions — this is the result of placing someone who has not completed the preparatory stage in the position of minister! This is the result of an employee who took the bribe after seeing his manager greet her with open arms! This is the result of being silent about error and is in its infancy, as we have not thought that this error will grow and grow and will be very difficult to control.
We have never seen Iraqi companies subject to sanctions or expulsion and exile from the country! The negligence of the law makes sovereignty and respect a short wall crossed by the infant!
Since we are a website specializing in technology, we are talking about what we realize and what we realize is that telecommunications companies are smuggling the Internet and this is being revealed but not being held accountable (Glory be to God!)
We know that telecom companies impose meaningless taxes on the user and we have not seen the relevant government agencies ask a serious question such as: “Why does the user pay these taxes and what is the significance of paying them?”
Why is the user line suspended within a month if he does not complete it?
Why are your prices so high?
Why are your services bad?
Why is coverage weak?
How do you distribute the shares?
How do you transfer data?
Where does the data go?
What are you doing with the recordings? Call records? Location? Contacts?
Why use cache devices a lot?
Why, why, why, but no use.
Finally, the snake will not die unless it starts from its head — if it starts from the tail, then read yourself peace, where do you run away, its poison will spurt on you.
Here we conclude our article, and we were asked only by very simple questions in the minds of Iraqis.
