Power and oppression

We are a technical site specializing in global technology, but always focus and give special attention to the events that are happening in Iraq and technology in Iraq and the reason for this is our understanding of what is happening inside this country largely as our home.

You may say that this is discrimination and this is normal because it represents your point of view, which we respect a lot and give more attention than you think, but from our point of view not! In this country we are very different from yours in everything.

Internet and networks are very poor.
Exploit the user.
User disrespect.
“Monument” somehow on the user.
Rebellion against laws in some cases.
Abuse of power for the greed and greed of individuals and companies.
These are 6 of the dozens of negative points.

Demonstrations took place in Iraq on October 1, 2019 in many provinces and these demonstrations were peaceful and its leader and representative is the only Iraqi youth !.

Here we finish the political talk and we will not address it as it is not within our competence We are a technological site as we mentioned at the beginning of the article.

The Internet is a human right like all other rights. A person pays certain amounts for a particular service.

Regardless of the smuggling of the Internet that is happening in Iraq by “certain” companies and regardless of the speeds provided by companies and regardless of the prices set by the companies, which is completely irrational and if we wish to talk about it will be “hurtful” for companies as a whole starting from the telephone companies Mobile to internet companies.

The Internet was completely disconnected from about 10 o’clock on the night of the second day of October, which began the demonstrations for political reasons I expect that everyone knows it and there is no need to talk about it.

The blocking of the Internet did not include northern Iraq or the so-called Kurdistan region, because that region does not contain demonstrations because it is almost isolated from the rest of the country and this is a political matter that we do not want to talk about, it is not our specialty.

What is important is that the Internet service did not return until the moment I wrote this article (October 6 at 3 pm) and I do not know when it will return (the Internet returned on October 7 between 7 and 8 pm, but banned Social Media).

As an Iraqi citizen working on the Internet, from October 2 to today I did not see my work! Have you been fired? Is my work suffered an unfortunate accident? Do you hate my work? Do you, do you, do you, do you ……

Physically I was greatly affected during these 6 days and I work as an individual and I do not have a company. This, let alone the companies that have been affected! Our banking services stopped! Applications for hotel, car, aircraft, food and delivery bookings have also been discontinued. Many companies and services have been discontinued due to Internet blocking in Iraq.

This huge amount of losses who will compensate? Who will compensate me for my losses? Who will compensate airlines, cars, hotels, shops and delivery companies? Who will compensate the restaurants? Who will compensate magazines, newspapers and websites?

All this happened because the PA is afraid of its position that the demonstrators will spread what they have filmed to the public.

All of this happened for fear of communicating about their gathering.

All this happened for fear that the authorities would face their bitter reality!

So what do you expect from an authority that did not satisfy its people? Will companies respect them? I was wondering why electronic banks like PayPal do not support Pvt! I wondered why companies do not have official stores in Iraq? I wondered why the Iraqi individual is not respected by companies? I wondered why my country sits at the bottom of the global list of internet servers!

And you wonder why your Iraqi passport is among the worst in the world?

The answer to all the above is:

Do you own a country?

Three words abbreviate hundreds of words and thousands of characters! Do you exist, does your country seek to comfort you, does your state seek to develop you, does your state seek to raise your passport among global passports, does your state seek to raise the economy, does your state seek to eradicate poverty? Is your country seeking to develop and educate its people, does your state seek to provide comfort to its citizens, does your state want to be present in it, does your state attract companies and investment, does your state care about you and your future, is your state alive?

We wonder why Amazon does not support Iraq and we do not wonder whether Iraq is a suitable environment for companies to take into account?

In a tent country with the word “corruption” in every sector, from health to telecommunications.

In a country whose employees seek to earn money and dance for their wounds.

In a country filled with employees, rulers and leaders of Argentine origin.

In a country dominated by “political” Islam.

If these specifications are presented above, then you are in Iraq.

At the beginning of my article, I mentioned that I would not talk about politics, but in fact I could not because the jealousy that led me to go out with peaceful demonstrators was the same that led me to talk about it.

My love for my country makes me not to accept all these insults. I am a citizen of a country considered among the richest countries in the world. A country filled with good deeds, a country with excellent geography and strategy, a country torn by wars, corruption and Argentine loyalty.

My words above may cause many problems for me but I don’t care! No longer any other threat I care! Do you know why? Because I was among the peaceful demonstrators, I carried the flag of my country, Iraq, among the thousands of young people beside me who were chanting their right and carrying peace with them. Do you know how the response was? It was with hot water, tear gas and live bullets flying over my head. I carry my country’s flag and carry my arms. I demand my right to repress me in all kinds of ways. Did you know why I don’t care about the problems this article might cause?

All of the above could have been surpassed if we had elected the right person in the right place.

You might say that the election Not useful in Iraq and is falsified, but for the first time in this article I tell you you are wrong.

Elect and you will see the country change, grow, thrive, raise your business, eliminate corruption and its whales, provide you with a decent life, advance technology, encourage industry and innovation, motivate young people, you will have a homeland, which you and I miss now.
